Purchasing the High Fashion Antiques of the Future

February 17, 2011

Whilst reading the Elle Spring/Summer collections 2011 magazine I came across Shaun Leane and have fallen in love with his New Jewellery Collections.

Leane's is Renowned for his darkly romantic and beautifully crafted jewellery; his work
has been described by Sotheby's, London's prestigious auction house, as ‘antiques of the future'.

He's first diamond collection was launched in 2005 in celebration of his 20th year in the jewellery industry. The Collection marked a return to his traditional jewellery roots with hand crafted pieces that celebrate the exclusivity of high end jewellery.

His idea of fusing fashion with tradition introduced a new element to fine jewellery.

By spring 2006 Leane was granted Freemanship of the City of London for his contribution to the UK jewellery industry.

As well as having a wide portfolio of celebrity clients such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Daphne Guinness, Leane is also responsible for creating some of the most iconic catwalk pieces we have seen today.

Past catwalk collaborations have included acclaimed projects with Alexander McQueen and Givenchy.

His work with the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen spanned over fifteen years and has brought him international recognition.

I can only dream of one day purchasing one of his beautifully crafted antiques of the future... for now -Watch this space, or should I say, ring figure.
