Following her catwalk debut last season, Judy Wu returned to London Fashion Week with a collection focusing on the strength of women.
Raised in Shanghai, Judy Wu was a keen painter as a child. This lead to her to exploring creativity through fashion design and launching her label in 2013.
The show began with crisp white looks reminiscent of a blank cavas. Whimsical watercolour prints on fluid fabrics trickled through and contrasted against block colours, asymmetric lines and structured silhouettes (no doubt inspired by Dutch painter Piet Mondrian).
Teamed with metallic accessories, the colourful collection was striking against the white catwalk and certainly stood out.
