Rum and Chocolate Pairing at Barrio Soho

Have you got plans for Monday? I have! I'm off to my favourite Mexican restaurant Barrio Soho to enjoy a rum and chocolate fuelled Easter tasting event.

El Dorado Rum and Rococo Chocolate are giving guests the chance to discover how the distinctive flavours of rum and chocolate can be matched and contrasted to create a taste-bud sensation of flavours; from fruity and sweet, to spicy, rich and indulgent.

After a welcome rum based cocktail guests will be walked through El Dorado’s world-renowned 12yr, 15yr and 21yr rums alongside speciality chocolates from Rococo. Hopefully by the end of the evening I'll know what I'm talking about and will be able to write a blog post all about the delights of rum and chocolate - keep your eyes peeled for an update next week.
