Ribena, the UK’s number one selling drink now juice drink , are injecting real sparkle into the soft drinks market with the launch of its exciting Ribena Sparkling.
Flavoured carbonates represent 12% of the £1.9bn Drink Now Soft Drinks market and is fuelling market growth with sales +7% year on year.
Verity Clifton, Marketing Director Ribena, says: “We are delighted to be able to bring our soft drinks knowledge and expertise to the fruit carbonates sector and give consumers a carbonated proposition from our trusted and much loved Ribena brand.”
“To support the launch of Ribena Sparkling and drive awareness and trial, a nationwide outdoor advertising and online campaign will be running during May. This forms part of a massive £11 million marketing campaign for the Ribena brand in 2011. Retailers should stock up all year round to ensure they maximise sales,” adds Clifton.
Ribena Sparkling is available now in Blackcurrant and Raspberry, in case sizes of 12, or singly for 99p.
