Christian Louboutin to Launch Beauty Line

It was only a matter of time before Christian Louboutin made his way into the beauty world.

After all, his red soles are the perfect lipstick shade.

The designer is set to launch Christian Louboutin Beauté (how French) next year.

WWD reports that specific products and categories haven’t been announced yet, but that there will be “products that meet the designer’s exacting standards, and ones that promise to break the mold” -what a teas!

We also know that Louboutin was quite captivated by a bust of Nefertiti at the Neues Museum in Berlin: “It’s the most beautiful thing. I stayed like an hour just looking at the bust. It’s a perfect beauty and the makeup is quite perfect.”

-I'm guessing the first batch of products will be inspired by the ancient Egyptian queen, however they will not be available until late 2013.
