After the Picasso museum we walked 5 minuets down the road to a quirky cafe I had researched online before we travelled.
Located at 14 rue Saint Sebastien, Folks and Sparrows has a rustic interior containing large wooden tables and geometric tiles.
Serving
the best coffee in Paris (in my opinion) alongside fresh baguettes and bagels
containing locally sourced food, the cafe had a great ambiance. The staff were welcoming, and chatted to us about the surrounding area and explained passionately regarding their food.
I
enjoyed a beautiful fresh tuna bagel whilst Russell scoffed down a large baguette
filled with locally cured ham and cheese presented in a brown paper bag
tied with string and dried wild flowers (their signature look).
If
you're looking for Parisian foodie gifts to bring back home the shop also sells
quickly packaged canned sardines, chocolates and artisan olive oil.
