Quiche Poised For A Comeback

Entertaining this weekend? I have just the thing to take the stress out of your food preparations. 

The lovely team at Deli Sante sent me two beautiful quiches last week to celebrate my house warming. They stated that quiche is a good solution to any meal dilemma from dinner parties, suppers, picnics and even afternoon tea.

I decide to put this to the test, and to my surprise, they went down an absolute treat with my guests, who seemed to enjoy the crisp pastry case and a just-set creamy filling. 

 

Unlike other shop brought food the quiches had a real delicatessen feel about them. The Quiche Lorraine was filled with a rich egg custard, Cheddar cheese and large strips of bacon, whilst the Salmon and Watercress Quiche was filled with, you guessed it, Scottish salmon and watercress. 

 It looks like this 80's treat is poised for a comeback!
