January is notoriously known for sales, and even though we're all skint from overindulging at Christmas, us Brits just can't resist a discounted 'bargin'.
January can be bleak - it's dark, it's cold, we tragically need to go without life's little luxuries - and the thing I personally miss most during this blue month is being able to afford to eat out.
However, this January the food industry seems to have caught up with the retail stores and are offering some great deals. Here are my favourites:
#MEATeasy Monday
Tomorrow (11th Jan) every customer will receive 50% off at all MEAT restaurants (not valid at Chickenliquor Brixton).
That means half price Dead Hippie Burgers, deep fried pickles and chilli cheese fries.

Happy Month At Yo!
Monday to Friday from the 4th to the 29th January, you can enjoy 40 different blue plates for £2.70 at over 60 YO! Sushi restaurants across the UK.
You can grab chicken gyoza, salmon nigiri, spicy tuna rolls and prawn katsu for under three quid a dish. Click here to see if your local branch is participating.

Half Price Mexican Food
Newly refurbished Barrio Soho are offering 50% off all the total bill throughout
January, so Londoners can enjoy a wide selection of mouth watering
Mexican food and refreshing cocktails for an incredible price.

Gastro Pub Goodness
One of London's favourite gastro pubs, The Jam Tree in Clapham and Chelsea, is offering 50% off your food bill Monday - Friday this January.
And dinner doesn't have to mean compromising the January diet, as their menu features a section of lighter main courses with less than 500 calories a dish.
Free for brunch? I visited last year and couldn't fault the Bloody Mary's.
