Roast London Dry Gin Launch

October 08, 2014

Roast London Dry Gin

Roast, the famed restaurant that over-looks Borough Market, has created its own London Dry Gin.
Distilled at the Thames Distillers in Greenwich, the gin is infused with juniper berries, coriander seeds and angelica root to give a savoury and clean finish.

Whilst at the launch we tried a cocktail of lavender infused gin with lemon bitters which was extremely pleasant alongside salmon.

We also participated in the #roastselfie competition that sees one winner a month win a £25 restaurant voucher. If you're visiting soon, get snapping!

Water Revelution | Bobble Review

June 15, 2014

#waterrevolution

So, I've joined the water revelation and bought myself a Bobble.

The mission? To reduce plastic waste by starting a revolution around stigmatising single-serve water bottles and the outrageous waste they create.

To entice myself to drink more water, I've been flavouring my Bobble with sliced cucumber, mint, lemon, camomile and orange slices - flavoured filter water, without costing the earth.

Join the revolution. Hashtag your bobble photos with taste the #waterrevolution

Lychee Wasabi, Mango Chilli, Pomegranate and Black Pepper... Surely these aren't drinks?!

September 21, 2011

Lychee Wasabi, Mango Chilli, Pomegranate and Black Pepper
Spicy Pear.
Prometheus Springs, an utterly unique new elixir, have just release their second range of flavours:
Spicy Pear, Mango Chili, and Citrus Cayenne.

If you think that sounds bizarre, well then, you have to try it. The first taste is truly an experience you will remember.
My body asked my mind what was going on, it was looking for some kind of explanation. I had never tried anything like it.

These drinks are the results of some serious nerding out in the Prometheus laboratory to chemically pair Indian spices with a fruit base.

I love the photography used for the drink; especially for the original flavours
-The contrast of the dynamic drink compared to the simple photography works wonderfully.

Citrus Cayenne.
Mango Chilli.

The Original Flavours:

Lemon and Ginger.
Lychee Wasabi.
Pomegranate and Black Pepper.

DKNY Million Dollar Fragrance

August 20, 2011

DKNY's latest venture is an exquisite fragrance bottle carved from 14-karat gold and coated in 2,909 precious stones
-including a 7.18-carat sapphire, a 4.03-carat pear-shaped diamond and 3.07-carat ruby.

Slightly redeeming is the fact that net proceeds go to Action Against Hunger, a charity that works to fight world hunger.

-But wouldn't it have been easier to simply donate the money instead?!
