April 08, 2012

With Easter here many are showing off their distinctive eggs over social media sites.

However, if you want a fashionable Easter egg, then Roberto cavalli has something for you.

Cavalli has created three specially designed Easter chocolate eggs - Giraffe, Zebra White, and Zebra Dark. Each egg, made of high-quality cocoa beans, also contains a surprise by Roberto Cavalli.

If you want this kind of luxury each egg will set you back €139 for 400g. You'll also find an exclusive and original Roberto Cavalli foulard inside the egg.

And for a smaller gift you can buy these miniature eggs which also contain an exclusive and original Roberto Cavalli gift inside, €49 for 140g of chocolate egg.

These exclusive eggs are available at the Caffè Giacosa in Firenze, Italy, and online at www.caffegiacosa.it

Caffe Giacosa is owned by Roberto Cavalli, who tries to maintain the sophistication of early times with the authentic taste.

Easter Luxury: The Armani Easter Egg

April 03, 2012

Armani clothes give you stylish fashion you can wear, but now they have fashionable decadence you can eat as well.

For Easter this year forget the traditional chocolate bunny or Cadbury Egg, Armani has their own white, dark and milk chocolate Dolci Egg creations to tempt even the richest palate.

Embossed with the unmistakable "A" and delivered in a sky blue box dressed with a ribbon, these chocolate eggs are not for the children to hunt down in the yard, but for a special someone who deserves some sweetness this spring.

Le Petite Poupée de Lanvin

September 09, 2011

I am always looking for an excuse to buy a little piece of Lanvin -and here's one with a feel good factor.

The French fashion house has enlisted the help of women in Swaziland who are diagnosed as HIV positive to hand stitch and embroide four limited edition fabric dolls each dressed in its own Petite Lanvin outfit.

Proceeds from the sale of these charming dolls will go to the charity Dessine l'espoir whichsupports women in Africa with HIV.

The dolls are made in the spirit of Jeanne Lanvin, the founder of the brand, who liked to make clothes for children and dolls.

In 1945-6, French couturiers showed their designs on miniature dolls so as not to waste fabric.

The decked out dolls go on sale in November, just in time for the launch of Lanvin's luxury chidlrenswear collection.

For Lanvin obsessives the hand-made dolls will be the stars of this years Autumn collection- they are sure to become instant heirlooms.

Dolls will be available from all Lanvin boutiques and stockists of the Lanvin Petite range and will cost 250 Euros each.
